Bouldering Competition at Rise Up

OVERVIEW

Rise Up, the climbing gym in Lynchburg, is holding a bouldering competition this upcoming weekend! It should be a ton of fun because they’ll have a lot of new cool problems to climb, you’ll get to see some awesome people climb, and comps are always lots of excitement and fun (and often the source of free stuff). It’ll be an awesome opportunity to gain some competition experience if you’re interested.

Because it’s a competition, I would recommend this only to those people with bouldering experience.

The competition is from 12-4, we’ll probably leave around 5 depending on how long it takes for results to come in. CORRECTION: It’s one hour drive drive and we’ll want to get there a little early. So we’ll leave at 10:30, expect to be back around 6.

The club provides shoes, chalkbag, gas money

You need to bring money for entry, your own shoes/chalkbag, and loose clothing for movement! Bring something good to snack on and a water bottle. Maybe money to grab dinner afterwards

I need drivers so everyone will be waitlisted with drivers having priority.
