116 Washington Avenue - A.K.A. Shred Shack
Blue Ridge School, Mayo Drive, Saint George, VA, USA
Never heard of BRS? The Blue Ridge School is located super close to Charlottesville and maintains top notch mountain bike trails that are open to the public. Seriously, if you think O’Hill, Ragged, or Preddy are awesome, the Blue Ridge School will blow your mind. I’ve been several times and each time was a blast.
I plan to ride around 15 miles (w/ breaks), though a route is not set in stone and neither is the distance (let me know in the comments if you’d prefer something else and if you are okay/not okay with this distance. Maybe something like this: https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/7061585/brs-three-towers. If we have a mixed skill group of large enough size, we can also potentially split up at some point depending on what people want.
***Please read***
The route linked above (and some of the trails I’d like to ride, particularly Copperhead) have some challenging sections, but all of the tough technical features have a ridearound option, so you don’t have to ride them if you’re not feeling it. So, while this will be a challenging ride, it does not demand pro skills and I can promise that this place is super fun even on the ridearounds. If you have questions/concerns, text me at at 571-332-3740.
