Bryce Mountain Bike Park Opening Day (Intermediate-Adv Mtb)

OVERVIEW

The time has come, Bryce Mountain Bike park is opening for the season this Saturday May 7th! Come shred the new and improved trails with us! Bryce mountain bike park takes advantage of the resorts ski lifts to allow riders to focus on the downhills. The day will be filled with a short lift ride followed by blisteringly fast descents down one of their many trails. The crew has been working hard this spring to get the trails in perfect shape, they have reworked all the jumps and berms.
The last time I was at Bryce it had just snowed 3 feet and was 65 degrees. This Saturday the snow has been replaced by fresh dirt (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FefcH8IQhfE) and we should be greeted with great weather.

Logistics:
We will depart from Echols at 8:30am on Saturday May 7th. This will put us at Bryce by around 10 so we should be able to get some first tracks in.
We will shred as long as our bodies and bikes last. The bike park closes at 5.

Cost:

Bryce is a downhill only park, this opens up the use of Downhill MTBs, these bikes are special beasts which no mortal would even try to pedal uphill, however they crush the descents. Bryce does have the option of renting these bikes, along with body armor, helmet and a lift ticket for $130 for full day and $90 for half day. This rental is by no means necessary to get full enjoyment however. Bryce is easily ride-able on a hardtail.
