Bushwhacking Adventure

OVERVIEW

Do you ever feel limited by a trail? Ever feel like you could experience so much more if you stepped off the path? If so, this trip is for you.

We’ll drive into George Washington National Forest in Vesuvius, VA which is 1 hour west of Cville. We’ll park and walk to the base of Mine Mountain where we will start our hike up the mountain on a path. The path ends half-way up the mountain, but we will continue! We’ll pass two rock outcrops on our way up, see a great view at the top, and come down by way of a natural water slide.

bushwhacking = no trail, so wear long pants to avoid getting scrapes and cuts.

Things to bring:
warm layers
lunch for the top
water
