Virginia Tech is hosting the 2nd collegiate mountain bike race of the season. 5 Races packed into 2 days! Come rep the University as we cross the border into Hokie territory.
Saturday:
Uphill Time Trial
Short Track
Down Hill Time Trial
Dual Slalom
Sunday:
Cross Country
There will be groups going up both Saturday and Sunday. You can chose to go up for Saturday, Sunday or both.
Saturday we will leave @ 6am from the Graveyard at the Corner of Alderman and McCormick and then get back Saturday night at around 8pm.
Sunday we will Leave @6am from the Graveyard at the Corner of Alderman and McCormick and then get back Sunday @ 5pm
The trails we will be racing require intermediate to advanced mountain biking skills. If you are comfortable on all of the trails on Ohill then you should be fine.
Participants will need to bring their own:
Water bottles or camelback
Cloths for Sat & Sun
Cloths to race in on Sat & Sun
Snacks, food or money for food
In order to prepare first time racers, I will be holding a MTB skill clinic Wednesday @ 5pm in the field next to the graveyard at the Corner of Alderman and McCormick. Look for the other adventure titled Mountian Bike Racing 101.
