Dark Mountain Trail System
Like to mountain bike? Want to go head to head with VCU, William and Mary and VT? Come to the collegiate mountain biking race series opener this weekend!! 3 Races packed into 2 days!
Saturday:
Downhill – 1pm
Super D – 4pm
Sunday:
Cross Country – 10:30am
We will be camping at the foot of the Dark Mountain Trail System Saturday nights alongside all of the other collegiate mountain bike racers from the ACC. Expect bonfires, marshmallows and bike ghost stories!
We will leave Saturday Morning @ 7am from the Graveyard at the Corner of Alderman and McCormick and get back Sunday @ 5pm.
The trails we will be racing require intermediate to advanced mountain biking skills. If you are comfortable on all of the trails on Ohill then you should be fine.
Participants will need to bring their own:
Mountain bike (Cross Country or Downhill)
Helmet
Water bottles or camelback
Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad
Cloths for Sat & Sun
Cloths to race in on Sat & Sun
Money for food Sat & Sun ($25-$40)
