it’s not a good week in cville unless i see the sunrise from a mountain at least one of the days & unfortunately my bday morning sunrise plans today fell through so i’m eager to plan another early morning shenanigan. forecast for wednesday is sunny & seventy so i gotta send it.

hawksbill is a quick lil boi that leads to great 270 views. it packs a lil punch with its steepness, but aside from that it’s easy peasy. it’s also a critically endangered sea turtle belonging to the family cheloniidae. the turtle is characterized by its distinctive beak & is prized for its shell. for more info visit: https://conserveturtles.org/information-about-sea-turtles-hawksbill-sea-turtle/ as for info on the hike: it’s a little less than a mile so roughly 25 min of hiking up to the summit!
