*Cancelled* 2014 Aca Collegiate Race Series National Championships – Whitewater Kayaking Training Session 4

Training session number 4 for the ACA Collegiate National Championships! The following link gives more details on the race on March 29th-30th:

The plan could change depending on river flow, but we will be headed to paddle the Rivanna, Charlottesville’s local river! This is an easy, class II run perfect for working on basic river navigation skills.
To come on this trip you must have attended a previous training session with me, or have equivalent experience. You should be able to perform a wet exit and a T-rescue, but rolling is not required. If you are unsure whether or not you should sign up for this trip feel free to contact me! (hek5gf@virginia.edu)
Dress warm with non-cotton layers! The forecast calls for a high of 60 degrees, but the water will still be pretty cold.
I’m setting the number of attendees to 4 to start out with, but will let more people in as I get drivers signed up!

TIMES: We’ll leave from Echols around 12, and return around 5pm.

THE CLUB PROVIDES: Kayaks, paddles, any other paddling gear- Please indicate when you sign up if you will need to use the club’s gear (or warm gear). Gas $$ is provided for drivers.

YOU PROVIDE: Bathing suit, towel, a change of clothes, $$ for food or snacks, any paddling gear you own
