Wassup outdoorsy folks.
The club has four SUPs (stand-up paddleboards) so let’s put them to good use at this year’s Creekathon with some SUP yoga (idea creds to Hannah Kessenich from a few years ago)!!! I’ve never SUPped but I’ve done quite a bit of yoga so I can teach you fine outdoorsmen&women some yoga poses and headstands and whatnot and hope the poses transfer well from ground to paddleboard 😉 . Just be prepared to get wet!
No experience necessary. If you’d like to come just to learn how to stand on a stand up paddleboard (like I will be doing after watching some Youtube tutorials in advance), that’s fine too!
Since the club has four SUPs and I’m opening this trip to 8 people (starting at 5 but bumping it up to 8 once another driver signs up), we’ll just take turns giving each other pointers, chillin’ and whatnot.
Plan: meet at Echols at 10 am and head to the park. SUP for a couple hours then rendez-vous with the rest of the group. Leave the park around 4 pm.
Club provides:
Four SUPs and paddleboards
You bring:
Bathing suit/other non-cotton clothes for water
Change of clothes
Drinking water
Towel
