*Cancelled* Is this Nova?

OVERVIEW

NO! But also yes! Welcome the Northern Shenandoah Valley! On this trip we will explore NOVA as in Northern VA and Western NOVA. I have yet to figure out how to describe where I live but we are gonna see it either way.

The incredibly Jae and yours truly are planning an overnight to Wolf’s Gap Campground. On this trip we will do two hikes in the span of 24 hours up to Tibbet Knob AND Big Schloss (my personal fav ;)). We will have Jae’s BANANA boats and even better MY FAMOUS PANCAKES. (Ask Charlie). Also awesome views and good times and stories and songs and everything in between BUT ANYWAYS (@ my handley peeps)

DETAILS

We will depart from Echols’ brick wall at 1:15 (please don’t be late- we are chasing daylight) arrive at the campsite around 3:00 and begin Tibbet’s Knob around 3:15-3:30 to watch the sunset then back down hopefully before it gets dark. It should be about an hour up and an hour down with some steep inclines for about 60 meters. We will then enjoy a dinner of hodogs and dillas then chillax and smores and blanaba boats and then enjoy sleep.

We will wake around 9am maybe haha ya know. Then we’ll pack up and hike Big Schloss. About two hours up and two hours down. The beginning of this hike is very steep but then levels out along the ridge for the rest of the time. It is super fun at the top with a nice long thick rock outcropping. The views from here are seriously rad. Then we’ll head back down and drive towards civilization around 2 where we will stop for some lunch grub in Harrisonburg (this is what the $10 fee is for). This all hopefully puts us back on grounds around 4:30. These times are flexible as we can always wake up earlier so if you need to be back on grounds at 4:00 instead of 4:30, no worries, just text Jae or I and we can amend the itinerary.
