It has been far too long since I’ve seen the sun crest the horizon, pouring its light into the Shenandoah Valley like a sweet golden nectar of life. Come one, come all and join me in witnessing this magnificent spectacle of nature that happens everyday, yet we hardly ever manage to see! Oh and lets do it at Blackrock Summit.

The things we gon do:
Meet at echols 4:30 am
Drive 1 hr 20 min to Blackrock parking area
Hike 1 mile to the top
Watch sunrise @ 6:38 am
Hike down
Leave Parking lot at like 7:20 am
Arrive in Cville ~8:30-9:00am

-headlamp
