Humpback Rocks
Yo this trip isn’t happening because no drivers signed up plus I’m sick and can’t really do much of anything.
Take a break from studying/stress/life. The sunrise trip seems to be pretty popular and I wanted to get in on the action. Plus this is my first time hiking Humpback so it should be a real adventure 🙂

Here’s a little blurb about the trail from Hiking Upward : “The 1.0 miles to the Rocks is very tough, gaining about 800′. The views at the Rocks are great looking west onto the Shenandoah Valley and north to Shenandoah National Park. ”
***I know this says the trail is tough but beginners are super welcome. I’d love to meet some fellow first years. So yeah don’t be intimidated and know that we are in this together.
THE PLAN
Leave from Echols at 5:15 am
Arrive at the trail by 6:00 am
Make it to the top around 6:45 and watch the sunrise.
Make it back to C-ville between 8/8:30.
DRIVERS NEEDED
Reimbursement plus 50% tip 🙂 Make sure to come with a full tank in order to get reimbursed. Driver’s will be prioritized!
WHAT TO BRING
-Yourself <3
-Hiking shoes
-Breakfast/Snacks. I'll have some small energy bars for people, but if you need something more, bring it. better safe than hungry.
