Have you ever seen a cedar run?
I have for the past 3 years at the beginning of the year. But tomorrow YOU get to experience it for the first time! We are venturing out to Cedar Run Trail which has multiple swimming holes about a mile or so up the trail. It’s a short but steep hike and well worth the ascent. We’ll take a refreshing dip, hang out, and soak in the beauty of this wonderful green oasis at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains. This was also my first trip with Lillie so we’re having a full circle moment as 4th years. NEW MEMBERS GET PRIORITY off the waitlist! We will let folks off the waitlist starting at 5pm today.
Timing:
Saturday Mornin’
10:30am leave from echols
11:30pm arrive at Cedar Run Trailhead
hike for a bit
splish splash
2:00pm leave the woods and water
3:00pm arrive back in cville for football game and tailgates!
To bring:
water + snacks/lunch
swimsuit + towel
sturdy hiking shoes or sandals
sunscream
DRIVER NEEDED (Already have 1 car)
-drivers get priority off the waitlist
-ODC reimburses for gas +50% tip!
-drivers need to show up to Echols with a full tank of gas!
