This weekend is the 23rd annual Cheat river festival (check it out at http://cheatfest.org/). I am planning on heading up Friday (haven’t quite figured when yet), paddling Saturday, and most likely coming back Sunday.
It would be pretty cool to get some people out there to lead other trips in the area besides kayaking and just to hang out in general so create some adventures or shoot me an email if you are interested! I am happy to coordinate rides.
I will not be leading any of the kayaking sections so only sign up if you have the skills necessary to paddle class IV whitewater (check out the AW description here: https://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/2347/).
Club provides any paddling or camping gear you may need, you bring everything else and money for food, etc.
