Chill James River Glamping Trip

OVERVIEW

Ever get exhausted by the constant grind of school? Craving a quick escape to a peaceful riverside and some really good smores? Wanting to subject your body to the freezing James because claire and emma will peer pressure you into jumping in? Then look no further, my friend.

This trip is SUPER beginner friendly trip! We are going to be camping in style. There are bathrooms and a fire pit at the campsite and we are bringing two cars, so there is a lot of room for cozy layers and yummy snacks. Also, dinner is TBD but will be made by me when I get some more info about dietary restrictions 🙂

Trip Details:
3pm: We pick you up at echols
Drive to campsite
Set up awesome campsite and look for firewood
Settle in, get cozy, go for relaxing strolls, polar plunge, etc
Make dinner and SMORES
Tell ghost stories and go to sleep
NEXT DAY:
Wake up
Hang out and eat breakfast
Chill
Break down camp
Drive back to Grounds

What to bring:
-COZY LAYERS
-tent if you have one
-sleeping bag
-ridge rest OR big blanket to sleep on
-pillow
-any toiletries you need
-towel/bathing suit if you wanna plunge
-Snacks
-utensils and bowl for food
-Smores ingredients and easy breakfast (like granola bars or something)
-flammable things (cardboard/paper) for fire starting
-any books/journals/etc
-$$ if we stop at the coffeeshop in Scottsville for sustenance when driving back

What we bring:
-dinner
-tents
-some smores ingredients
-jetboil just in case our fire doesn’t work
-lighter
-trash bag
-anything else essential that I forgot to add to this list
