Clean and Repair: Tents, Sleeping Bags, Backpacks!!!

OVERVIEW

Come hang out with Mitch and Ed as we work to repair some of our most heavily used and regularly bruised gear items.
No experience needed. We will put you to work!

Some things we might get up to:
Replacing elastic in our poor MSR hubba hubbas
Repairing holes in tent bodies with seam seal or patches
cleaning tent footprints
Spraying tents with solar wash
washing sleeping bags at the laundromat !
dunking backpacks in tubs of water
eating dirt

Mitch and Ed will be cleaning tents,
the club gear that everyone frequents.
All day long they will stay
please come and say “hey”
with PBR and sunshine as your presents.

When:
10am start cleaning tents (+ other gear)
3:10 Ed leaves for haircut
4:30 Ed returns from haircut
6:00pm tent day over!

Where: the Shrack (116 Washington Avenue)!

To Bring:
water
snacks
lunch if you plan to stay all day
clothes that you don’t mind getting wet/ dirty
