Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
This trip is appropriate for all levels.
Sorry for the late trip posting, but I was waiting for the weather forceast.
The plan is getting up early Sat. hike to the top of old Rag Mountain and do some climbing there.
If you are a beginner: There will be instructions on basics and easy and nice climbs. the hike up there is 2 hours, so may not be the easiest way to learn the stuff, but probably the nicest way.
If you are intermediate (Top rope 5.8+) there should be some interesting corners, chimnies and cracks.
If you are advanced: we will trad climb. your attendance would be greatly appreciated (like evrybody else , of course) as you can help to set the top ropes by leading trad or even bealying a leader.
IMPORTANT: It may be cold,
so bring warm clothes including gloves, hat and fleece.
NOTE: The sign up deadline is Friday at 7PM because I need to go and take gear for particpants.
Club provides: all climbing gear, gas money, instructions
You bring: Water (2 liters), snacks and a lunch, headlamp and/or flashlight if you have.
