Hey Climbers!
Who wants to climb at the New!?! And possibly stop by the festivities at Gauley Fest Saturday night?
Here’s the plan: We’ll be leaving Friday afternoon, grabbing dinner somewhere on the way, setting up camp, climbing all day Saturday, stopping over at the Gauley Fest, climbing Sunday then heading home.
Trip Requirements: Know how to tie in, lead belay, and clean the anchor. Able to climb 5.9.
You provide: Plenty of water, personal climbing gear you own, money ($15 if you want to join us for gauley fest), backpack, weather appropriate clothes, towel, toiletries, headlamp, first aid kit, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, approach shoes, sandals, camera and raw climbing power.
Club Provides: Ga$ money for drivers or ride in a car, any camping/climbing gear you do not own and exciting outdoor adventure. Club will pay for your lodging, food, and gas!
IF YOU NEED GEAR, COME 15 MINS BEFOREHAND AND WE’LL RUN TO THE GEAR ROOM!
Drivers and lead climbers/belayers get priority. Please do not sign up for this trip if you can not attend the entire trip. I am a bit flexible on leave/return times! Let me know if you want to go but the current times don’t work for you. Email me with any questions.
