Ok, this trip was just so fun last week and I think there’s never too much honoring of our good ol’ chimp and hominid ancestors in the void above, so we’re kicking it back to Slaughter on this coming RIPE BEAUTIFUL THURSDAY MORNING for some climbing and sunrise-watching!!!
Here’s the plot: Convene at the grand Slaughter Rec at 6:00 (I’ll be there at 5:50 admiring the star friends above if anyone wants to join!!), then climb it up as the sun prepares its grand show rising above the horizon, dash out to admire said show and say HELLOOO SUN, then continue climbing/romping/pondering what food Thursday would be if it were a food. We’ll wrap up around 7:30 so we can kick off our days of Thurs and follow the fresh Thursday-food-smell of adventure from there.

Like last week, this is a trip for anyone at all who wants to reconnect with our Chimp origins on even the vaguest level or maybe just likes the really soft mats at Slaughter (they really are nice), so please sign up no matter what your experience is! I’ll prioritize new people to spread the climb-sun love but those who came last week are super welcome to sign up and bang out those climbs we started on last week.
I wish I could speak for our various Homo ancestors when I say I am SO EXCITED to see you all there soon, but I’m not sure what they would say to this so we can ponder that on Thursday. Either way, I’M SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU ALL SOON!!!
