What up fools, Yung Nedward and I will be heading down to Richmond on Saturday afternoon (Leaving C’ville around 1pm) for some good old fashioned type 2 fun (If you don’t know what that means, read here http://www.tetongravity.com/story/adventure/the-three-and-a-half-types-of-fun-explained ).
Given that it the high is 38 deg, you should have a solid combat roll to come on this trip, or you could be in for a very (very) cold swim, and none of us want that.
Club can provide any kayaking gear you may need, but you should definitely bring lots of layers to wear underneath your dry top and a change of warm clothes for afterwards. Also snacks and water are always a good thing to bring. Along with a good attitude, no complaining will be tolerated
