Come hike McAfee knob!!

OVERVIEW

Let’s go for a fun Friday frolic up infamous McAfee Knob. We’ll get an opportunity take in the trail and overhang’s amazing views (and snap an iconic outdoorsy photo if you wish) on a beautiful fall day—with peak foliage to boot 🥾! This hike does involve a challenging uphill climb and is almost 8 miles (but so so worth it). People new to hiking are totally welcome! You know your body and abilities best. Plus, I guarantee you’re capable of more than you expect. So sign up!

Plan:
-8am: meet at echols
-10am: arrive at trailhead
-10-2ish: hike up, enjoy the views and break for lunch, hike down
-4:30ish: return to echols

Bring:
-Water
-Backpack to carry snacks/lunch
-snacks/lunch
