Have you heard the news…? I LOVE BIKES. alot. I also loOOve Community Bikes for all they do for our little bike lovin’ community. I also identify as a woman. For all of these reasons, I will be heading over to Community Bikes for their WTF night!!!!! Join me!
In their own words here’s what this is all about: “The goal of WTF nights is for women & gender-expansive folks to feel welcome and at home in a bike shop, a space overwhelmingly held by white cis-men. WTF Night is a safe space to work on your bike, ask questions, work on a kids’ bike that we’ll get back out into the community, or just come to hang out! ”
If you haven’t heard of Community Bikes definitely look them up, they’re super fantastic. I’ll be bringing my bike to hopefully learn how to do a little work on it, so feel free to bring yours as well if you have one! Otherwise, feel free to just come and learn some things about bike maintenance and what Community Bikes is all about in a safe space. We’ll meet at my house (1300 John Street) because I live so close and then walk/bike over (like half a mile)! I have to get to a class at 7, so I’ll be heading out then but leaving time is up to you. Stay as long as you want!
