Rays Campground
Cville
Cranberry Glades, West Virginia, USA
**NRGE has reached capacity at the moment, so this trip is primarily for those already on NRGE looking for a trip on Sunday (waitlist will prioritize those already on trips/main carpool, but if people drop from nrge there is potentially still space)
What better way to end a wild and wonderful (& wet) West Virginia weekend than scenic trail run? Join Marion and I for the 17-mile (1800′) Cranberry Wilderness Loop:

In terms of skill level, some experience trail running and moderate physical conditioning would be helpful. But, this should be pretty chill. While 17 miles is rather long for a hike, this loop is really flat so it will be pretty runnable. I personally plan on doing more of a power walk for the one extended climbing section. Overall, we plan on taking a chill pace (15 min mile) and having plenty of buffer time, so feel free to sign up for this even if you’re not a huge trail runner.
