Corner Of Echols Dorm
Also Corner of Echols Dorm
Corbin Cabin PATC, Syria, VA, USA
What better way to spend your Friday evening than outside (but also technically inside??). We’ve both been wanting a good backpacking trip, and now that it’s getting cold what better way to do so then sleeping in a CABINNN!!??? Corbin cabin is owned and taken care of by the PATC (Potomac Appalachian Trail Club), but originally belonged to a moonshiner (oooo). The PATC also maintains our section of the AT!! The first day, we’ll hike about 7 miles, get to our cozy corbin cabin, and have din. The next day, we’ll wake up and finish the loop (about 6 miles) Since we’ll be “glamping”, this is a pretty beginner backpacking trip, but make sure you have moderate hiking experience cuz we’ll be covering decent mileage and elevation gain. 😎
Read more about the cabin and its amenities here: https://www.patc.net/PATC/Cabins/Individual_Cabins/Corbin.aspx

We’ll be doing a combo of these two trails:
