Creek-a-Paddle: Lazy Late Afternoon Kayak Float @Walnut Creek Lake

OVERVIEW

Going to the Creek-a-thon? After a cook-out you can
blissfully float around the Walnut Creek Lake in a kayak
and watch the sun set down.

I will have two quality inflatable kayaks (Innova Helios II
two-seater and Safari Solo) and two foldables (Pack-boat and
high-end Folbot Kodiak). If you are willing & able to give me a hand
in inflating/deflating or folding/unfolding the boats, sign up
and paddle away. No kayaking experience necessary – I will provide
just enough information and assistance for you to survive the adventure ;8-)

We will start at 4:45PM and finish little after 6PM.
I will have just three kayak seats available (one’s for me),
but if you join successfully, you can bring a friend and
can take turns in using the kayak.

I’ll provide kayaks, paddles, life vests, dry bags, whistles,
first aid kit.

You bring: water shoes or flip-flops, comfortable clothing (avoid cotton,
synthetics is better, dressing in layers might be useful), sunscreen,
sunglasses/hat, water/sports drink to imbibe, dry change of clothes/towel,
snacks if you want to have picnic on the water. If you have a rod & reel &
VA fishing license, feel free to fish.
