Creekathon Intro to Kayaking

OVERVIEW

Yo yo, Saturday is Creekathon at Walnut Creek Park so therefore a good place to learn some paddling basics on a nice flat lake.

Hopefully the water is warm enough to get to some rolling as well so please do not sign up if you know how to roll.

There are supposed to be some thunderstorms Saturday, and if that is the case we will unfortunately have to cancel but I will keep you updated if you make it on the trip.

Hoping to leave from Echols around 9:30am and head home whenever people want to in the afternoon post lunch. Leaving time may change if someone makes a biking trip that I want to do.

I will probably need another driver so they will get priority. Opening the trip up to 4 people to start with unless someone else wants to come help teach in which case we can have more!

Club will provide all boats and gear. Bring a towel, change of clothes, water, and synthetic layers
