This trip is meant to be a general introduction to whitewater paddling, mainly focused on roll practicing. Whether you are looking to nail down a roll you already have dialed in or have never been in a boat before and are wondering why in the world someone would ever find themselves taking an upside down adventure on the river and how this head first adventure could again become a head dry adventure any level of kayaking experience is welcome!
the plan:
after lunch we will get all suited up in our gear (pfd, paddle, spray skirt, boat)
then head down to the water to get in some roll practice for a few hours
depart creekathon around 2:30
