Now that that’s out of the way, who’s jazzed for creekathon???

We’re gonna munch on veggie burgers, hammock, slackline, and — if you get on this trip — 𝕡𝕒𝕕𝕕𝕝𝕖𝕓𝕠𝕒𝕣𝕕 as well!!
For those of you who have never paddleboarded before, it’s very easy! You should not be worried about prior skills or knowledge before deciding to sign up for this trip. The only thing you really need to know is how to swim or float. The plan is to arrive at creekathon, socialize for a quick sec, break out the boards, and head out on the water for a couple of hours. Afterwards, y’all will have a couple of hours to recreate freely before the carpool heads back to good ol uva.

The plan:
10:20 ish — arrive at walnut creek park
10:30 — meet at the pavilion that we have reserved for ODC
10:40 — put boards in the water
10:45-12:20 — let our worries float away like an autumn leaf on the surface of the lake
12:30 — grub maybe?

what to bring???
yo sweet self
water (2L)
shoes that can get wet or bare feet
swimsuit
towel
dry bag or plastic bag or something if you’re trying to be a screenager
