OVERVIEW

Hello everybody! My name is Grace Parlee and I am taking a group to Cultivate Charlottesville where we will be volunteering with the organization. I have linked their website below if you are interested in what they are all about (they’re amazing). I anticipate working to care for the garden. Wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and layers if its chilly! If your passionate about food justice, sustainability, equity, being outsideeeeeeee…hint hint outdoors club (as im sure you all are) come join! This is truly such an amazing opportunity to give back to our community and Anusha has organized it for us!! Also I will be getting Bodos for us and distributing it after the trip 🙂
Service ODC members will be prioritized as will people with cars 🙂

Timeline:
9:45 meet at corner of echols
10:00 leave echols
10:15 arrive at Burnley-Moran Elementary School
10:30 begin volunteering
12:30 end volunteering
12:45/1:00 arrive back at echols

To bring:
clothes/shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and layers
water
snacks if you would like
