Day Hike and Swimming at St. Marys

OVERVIEW

Despite the hurricane hype, sunday looks like it’ll be a sunny day. So even though classes have started, don’t waste it trying to pick out that last class or getting books, instead come out to St. Mary’s for a day of hiking and swimming holes.

The drive is about an hour, and we’ll hike in along the river and up to the falls; I haven’t done the hike along the river up to the falls in a year or two, but I think it’s at most a four mile hike in, total probably around six or seven.

We’ll leave early, have plenty of time to hike in and eat lunch at the falls, swim and sunbath, then hike back and drive home.
Make sure you bring shoes you can hike and cross the river in, at least a liter of water, lunch and snacks, bathing suit or clothes you can swim in, and a good sense of humor.

Gas will be reimbursed by the club!
