Day Hike and Swimming in Shenandoah – Cedar Run/White Oak Canyon

OVERVIEW

On Sunday morning we’ll head out for a day hike on the Cedar Run/Whiteoak Canyon trail. It’s a loop of about 8 miles, and along the way we’ll pass by several waterfalls (which should be awesome now after all of this rain). There is also a place with a natural waterslide, so bring your bathing suit if you want!

You bring: Lunch, LOTS of water (it’ll be hot!), bathing suit if you want, maybe dry clothes and a towel, sunscreen, a park pass if you have one.

Club provides: gas money, park passes

Everyone will be added to the waitlist and I will add people to the trip based on the number of spots in cars. If you say that you can drive, please bring your car unless I email you. Also, if the weather is questionable, check your email before meeting at Echols in case the hike is cancelled.
