New River Gorge
I’d much rather get sunburned rock climbing, than ‘watching’ horses run around in circles. So… I’ll be doing a day trip to the New River gorge for those interested, Crag TBD.
We’ll leave around 7am, climb till dark, and be home by 11 or 12, with enough time to head to bars or to bed depending on your motivation.
I have room for 2~3 additional people in my car, but will wait list everyone till we get the belay/car situation worked out.
Climb 5.9 top rope (clean) requirement, however:
If you have any questions/concerns about your skill level, email me and we’ll see if we can accommodate differing skill levels depending on the crag choice.
Club covers gas up to 150$ per vehicle, but since we’ve switched to the spring/summer reimbursement plan, food will be on your own. We can stop for dinner on the way home if everyone would like to.
Club provides: Ropes, draws, (shoes and harness from gear room if you need it).
you provide: any climbing gear you need, comfortable clothing (bring a jacket just in case, it was chilly last weekend), any food you want to eat, water/drinks.
