Do you want to get more involved with diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within outdoors club? Do you have ideas, feedback, or the capacity to help with DEI-related initiatives? You should show up to the DEI Committee meeting on Friday, Feb 14th 2PM-3PM ish on the Old Cabell steps (I couldn’t reserve a space, so we’ll meet here and then find somewhere that works better).
We’ll talk about DEI-related issues within the club, initiatives to create a more inclusive atmosphere within our organization, and how the DEI committee will operate going forward. There’s not too many details here, all you need to bring is enthusiasm about inclusion and diversity in outdoor spaces, and potentially a laptop (we use a google doc agenda to move through our meetings). Once you join the trip, I’ll send you the agenda!
