DEI Committee Meeting! (+Electing Next DEI Chair)

OVERVIEW

At our next DEI Committee meeting, we shall bestow the honor upon someone else of being the next DEI Chair! We’ll also go through some normal-meeting stuff before doing our elections. People who come will have the opportunity to hear the speeches of folks running for the chair position, ask DEI chair candidates some questions, and vote on the next DEI chair. If you have any interest in or desire to help with efforts to make our club more welcoming to all, join us on Thursday night! All are welcome and encouraged to come (genuinely, more than anything we need warm bodies that care about inclusion efforts within the club). We’ll meet on the old Cabell steps and then venture towards an empty classroom or something (or, if the weather’s nice, we could do it outside).
