Despite the warm winter, Wintergreen has reopened with lots of snow and even some of the Highlands area. Assuming the weekend’s rain doesn’t shut down Wintergreen or make it horrible, we’ll head up on Tuesday morning, leaving at 8:30 (that means we drive away at 8:31), and coming back when we get tired/bored. Yes, it’s kind of early, but morning snow conditions are much better.
If you don’t have a season pass, visit www.wintergreenresort.com for ticket and rental prices – you can probably get away with a 9-1 half-day pass. Also look there for the forecasted temperatures.
