Don’t Fall in Paddleboarding this SUNDAY

OVERVIEW

Just as the prophecy foretold, the cold winds of winter have arrived. Only last Saturday, birds sang and squirrels chattered in the trees, and all the woodland creatures frolicked for the simple joy of being alive. Now, the thick blanket of winter has settled upon the earth, the trees shiver off the last of their leaves, and and paddle boarding becomes a high-stakes sport.

So, my friends, this is no beginner paddle boarding trip! Nay, this is don’t-fall-in paddle boarding, where falling in would be chilly and probably not very fun! If you feel reasonable confident that you can paddle across ragged reservoir without falling off your board, you have enough skill to come on this trip! (Standing not required)

Even better, Ed and I are bringing a SPECIAL, HOT SEASONAL DRINK for everyone to enjoy WHILE PADDLE BOARDING! The drink is pumpkin hot chocolate, which we will make using a camp stove after journeying across the water to a SECRET COVE of our choosing. This means you have to bring a MUG in addition to the normal paddle boarding things.

Schedule:
1:15pm – Meet at the shack, load cars
1:20- arrive at ragged, pump up boards
1:40 – embark on the water, paddle to cove of choice, drink hot drinks on the water
3:00- pack up boards
3:15- return to shack
