Double Whammy: Hike the Priest and Crabtree Falls

OVERVIEW

Let’s hit up the Priest and Crabtree Falls, all in one go! The Priest is known for being a steadily unrelenting hike, clocking over 3000 feet of elevation gain in about 4 miles. Crabtree Falls is known for several great waterfall views along a lowkey trail. We’ll string these two hikes together, going up the Priest (because we’ve got to get that blood flowing somehow), then coming down via Crabtree Falls for a grand total of 1 summit, 3 waterfalls, ~3200 feet of elevation gain, and ~9 miles. We will use two cars to shuttle people to and from each trailhead so we can make this a one-way hike.

Schedule:
1:30 – Leave Echols
2:30 – Arrive at trailhead and shuttle people: 37.85144, -79.07922 (Crabtree Falls); 37.83831, -79.02328 (the Priest)
3:00 – Begin hiking
7:30 – Finish hiking and shuttle people
8:45 – Back at Echols
