Early Bird Birding

OVERVIEW

The early bird gets the worm, but who gets the early bird? If you like watching birds or just want to spend some peaceful time outdoors, join this trip! We will be heading to Ivy Creek to look at some birds and try to ID what they are. Last time, we saw an amazing great blue heron roost with 9+ herons! If you have binoculars or a zoom-in camera, feel free to bring them. I will also be providing binoculars from the gear room. Happy birding!

Plan:
7:00 am – meet at echols
7:15 – 9:15 am – arrive at creek and find the early birds
9:30 am – back at echols
