Early Morning Bouldering @ the Forest

OVERVIEW

Hey y’all, I was looking to heading over to the Blue Ridge Parkway to do some early morning bouldering at The Forest! It is a little more than an hour from town and am planning on being back by 12/noon. There is all levels of routes but this is a trip for people with some experience bouldering/climbing.

What & Where:
Bouldering at The Forest off the Blue Ridge Parkway near White Rock Falls (Marker 18.2)

When:
Sunday July 10th, 2016

Itinerary:
Leave Echols at 6AM (sunrise)
Climb
Chill
Climb a lil more
Hammock
Leave the parkway by 11AM
Arrive back in C’ville by noon

What you’ll need:
Climbing shoes & shoes to hike in
Appropriate clothes
Morning snacks
Water
Chalk
Crash pad (if you have one)

The club can provide:
Shoes
Crash pad
Chalk

I have a truck and can take 4 others and am taking 2 crash pads. Drivers get priority AND all the gas reimbursed! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to message me.
