Bonnycastle Circle
White Oak Canyon Trail
We’ll depart from the Bonnycastle Circle early Saturday morning and drive up Skyline Drive to the Whiteoak Canyon Trailhead. Traveling only about six miles (generally uphill) on Saturday, we are guranteed some fantastic views from the many cascades and waterfalls along the gorge. We will camp just before the Cedar Run Trail Junction, and on Sunday we will hike out approximately another six miles back to the cars. The Shenandoah National Park is beautiful, and it would be great to get outside and experience the Blue Ridge in late fall. Depending on how long it takes us to hike out, we will probably stop for some food on the drive home. Right now, the trip is limited to five, but if someone else can drive we can extend it to 10!
