WHAT: An Earth Day Student Planting Day sponsored by the
University Landscape and Arboretum Committee. FREE LUNCH
WHERE: Engineers Way between McCormick Road and Stadium

WHEN: Friday, April 22: Earth Day (Rain date: April 23)
Two Shifts: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Lunch Provided: Noon
Come join other students in an Earth Day planting project to improve Engineers Way. No experience required; the plants are small and there are a lot of them so everyone will have a chance to plant. Tools and supplies and lunch will be provided.
Two areas are to be planted: the long hillside between the upper and lower paths alongside of Thorton Hall and the brick lined planter along the Materials Science building. Two kinds of low growing plants will be planted: Vinca and Liriope.
