Dave Clark's House
Walnut Creek Park
dave’s cleanin’ up the trails on thursday, so i’m gonna go ride ’em on saturday.
we have five (5) new mountain bikes that are better than mine, and they’re all for y’all to use. (fisher tassajara’s – nice front suspension, various frame sizes, and even a women-specific ride, the genesister, though dave seems to love riding her too.) and we have helmets.
the weather is gonna be perfect. or close to perfect, and the park is awesome. walnut creek is where i learned to love mountain biking. and i know the perfect trail for the first time rider.
we’ll be home in plenty of time to get some work done. leave at 10, home by 1~2, depending.
experienced riders are welcome too. we can always split-up and hit various difficulty trails.
the trail network is 13 miles in total, around a lake, through streams, across easy rolling hills or steep rocky switchbacks. all trails are marked (easy, more difficult, most difficult) and all can be walked if trickier to ride than initially anticipated…
it’s a lot of fun.
if you like riding a bike, and you’ve not yet tried riding in the woods, i’d say it’s a must do. here’s your chance…
hope to see you.
