Edible Plant Walk

OVERVIEW

Hello beautiful people!

Springtime has arrived, and spring blooms and wild edibles are out in full force at last! Come join me on Friday afternoon to go foraging in the Charlottesville area for wild edibles.

We’ll meet at the top of the amphitheater steps at 3:30 PM and drive to the homestead and neighborhood of a Charlottesville local community resident to search for wild edible and medicinal plants. By the time we’re done, you’ll have some free greens to take home and some free knowledge that you can share with all your friends!

Come join if you want to know more about plants, want learn how to survive the zombie apocalypse, or you just want an excuse to get outside and walk around! We should finish before 6. Hope to see you there!

Please Bring:
– baskets, containers, bags– if you want to take anything home!
-1 or 2 liters of water
– snacks if munching on violet leaves isn’t gonna be enough
– hiking shoes and/or sandals
