The 12th is supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny and I’m looking to SWEAT and get those endorphins PUMPIN!
The plan is to scurry over to ragged and find a nice grassy area and I’ll lead about 30ish minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training), then some deep stretching, and maybe a nice little meditation at the end. The “high intensity” will not be too terribly intense, and also you can modify anything, so even if you’re worried about it I still encourage you to join! The goal is to celebrate how our bodies can move and sweat a little in the process 🙂
I am *not* certified by any means to be a workout instructor lol, but I do workout regularly and I was a competitive rower and basketball player for a couple of years and I’ve picked up a thing or two. My main motivation behind this is my CHRONIC shin splints- I am constantly looking for heart-pumping workouts to replace running while still getting a good sweat.
*Driver’s will not be reimbursed because ragged is too close but they WILL get priority off the waitlist!*
The Plan! (I left a LOT of wiggle room)
3:00 leave Echols
3:30ish begin workout/yoga/meditation
4:30 ragged mountain tomfoolery (whatever you want! I’ll leave time for sunbathing/a little cool down walk/fun by the reservoir)
5:00 leave ragged
I will bring:
– speaker for good vibes while working out
– a plan for said workout
YOU bring
– a towel or yoga mat
– water!!!!
– clothes you can move in
– sunscreen
– hat/sunglasses if you wish
