Hi everyone, have you ever been to a booktalk? ME NEITHER! But I saw this cool event and thought it would be nice to promote it to some ~ like minded individuals ~
Join the UVA Bookstore, UVA Sustainability, and UVA faculty for a lunch and book talk on the mezzanine level of the UVA Bookstore on Wednesday, October 12 from 11:30am-12:30pm.
This is celebrating the publication of a new book “Environmental Justice and Resiliency in an Age of Uncertainty” edited by Dr. Celeste Murphy Greene, faculty and program coordinator at the University of Virginia. The talk will also include two of the book’s co-authors, Dr. Michael Brown and Dr. Angela Orebaugh, discussing topics such as climate justice, health equity, smart cities and the history and development of the environmental justice movement. OOOOO!
If this sounds interesting to you, JOIN ME!! Everyone who registers gets free lunch catered by Mona Lisa — register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/environmental-justice-book-talk-lunch-tickets-428546613457
