Morven, Morven Drive, Charlottesville, VA, USA
This is a trip where we get to both look for wildlife and participate in growing food. We will leave from grounds around 1pm and drive out to morven. There we can explore some rarely used woods and look for/talk about signs of wildlife including deer, bear, turkey, fox squirrel, bobcat, etc. It is not super likely we will see any of the more rare things but we might see some signs of them. After our woods exploration we will go down and work in the kitchen garden helping prep the garden for overwintering. If we have multiple drivers people can also leave before the gardening if they arent as interested in that.
If you do want to work in the garden and you havent been before fill this out: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mkg-volunteer-day-1122-tickets-1083164005699
