Fall Bearfence Sunset!!!

Hey everyone!

We are so excited to hike bearfence on Wednesday!!! The hike itself is pretty short (1 mile loop) although there are some rock scrambles at the top. Nothing too difficult though and super fun! The top is pretty much a 360 view – perfect for good sunset watching!

It will be dark on the way down so make sure you can bring a flashlight and you are comfortable with walking back to the car in the dark.

Schedule:
5pm – leave grounds
6pm – arrive at Bearfence and start hiking!
6:30pm – watch the sunset then head back to the car
8pm – this should be the latest we get back to grounds

What to bring:
Layers: it’ll get cold when the sun goes down!
Water/snack: water is highly recommended, snacks only if you want
Shoes: ones that you can hike in
Flashlight: for leaving the mountain – VERY IMPORTANT (your phone probably isn’t good enough)
