Fall Colors Shenandoah Hike!

OVERVIEW

Come hike Turk Mountain in Shenandoah to see some beautiful fall colors this Sunday! It’s a pretty chill and short hike (2.5 miles,) but there is a short rock scramble to get to the summit. We’re still early in the season, but the leaves should have started to noticeably turn colors up in the mountains.

The plan:
11:30 – Meet at Echols and head out to the trail once everyone’s arrived
12:15 – Arrive at the trailhead and start hiking!
about 2:00 (depending on our pace): arrive back at the car and head back to UVA
some time around 2:45: Back at grounds!

You bring:
yourself
snacks! (lunch?)
water
a daypack/backpack?

I bring:
the same things
some extra snacks
a first aid kit
