come join us for a hike through white oak canyon, one of the most beautiful locations in the area, at one of the most beautiful times of the year. the trail begins at the foot of the mountain and follows a series of waterfalls as they cascade down the mountain all the way from the summit. the falls should be flowing with fresh rainfall, the leaves are in full color, and accuweather’s callin for nothin’ but sunshine all day long…
we meet at 10am on saturday at bonniecastle, and will be back in plenty of time to catch david grier at the prism… (i’m guessing around 6~6:30)
you don’t have to sign up, you can just show up. but bring your car if you have one (please). we’ll pay ya for gas.
Outdoors at UVa provides:
transportation to and from and a guide to take you there.
You must bring:
munchables, warm clothes (for descent), camera, smile, and a pack to carry your personals.
