OVERVIEW

School is hard and homework sucks but we have just the remedy… BEACH BACKPACKING!!!!!!! How would you like to spend 3 days (and 2 nights) frolicking in the sand, soaking up the sun, and body surfing some killer waves? False Cape State Park is a gorgeous park located in between Back Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, which means sick views, some pretty cool birds for Claire and fellow bird enthusiasts, sunrise over the ocean sunset over the bay, and some of the best stargazing EVER. The only way to get to it is by hiking through Back Bay Wildlife Refuge which is a very easy and flat hike along a gravel path through some marshland. Because of where you have to park the total mileage comes out to 7 miles each way give or take. Since the only way to access the beach is by biking or hiking we are likely to have the beach all to ourselves!! The campsite is equipped with a lovely outhouse and a spigot with potable water so you don’t need to worry about lugging water in/out πŸ™‚ This is a VERY beginner friendly backpacking trip so all are welcome, we will just make sure you get all the necessary gear from the gear rooms and be ready for some intense relaxation!
